Motion Software Engineer OT / Specialist in Drive Technology (m/f/d)

Location: Sirnach or Freiburg (DE) | Job percentage: 100% | Start date: by arrangement

We are a successful service company with many years of experience in the planning and implementation of software and hardware projects in all areas of industrial automation. We have seen a sharp increase in requests for large and individual solutions from our customers in various industries . To ensure that we can continue to provide our customers with optimum support in the future we are looking for reinforcement in the area of software engineering.

Your tasks
  • Programming of PLC and visualization software on new systems, modifications to existing systems and retrofits with a focus on drive technology (motion).
  • Testing control systems and visualizations in-house
  • Internal support for drive technology issues

  • Switzerland-wide and occasional international commissioning (cold and warm commissioning)
  • Production of operating instructions and manufacturing documents
  • Possibility for holistic order processing, material procurement, AVOR, deadline monitoring, installation support, documentation, supplement management, invoicing and post-calculation
  • On-call and service assignments for customers

 

Your profile
  • Training as an automation technician EFZ, electrician EFZ or equivalent training
  • Technical training in the field of electrical engineering or automation (technician HF / engineer FH / bsc)
  • Very good knowledge of programming PLC controllers, mainly Siemens TIA Portal and HMI/SCADA systems such as WinCC Unified, WinCC Classic and Zenon
  • Knowledge of programming PCS7 and Beckhoff controllers is an advantage
  • Further training and/or in-depth experience in the field of drive technology (motion) from the manufacturers Siemens, Beckhoff, ABB and/or Schneider

  • Knowledge of measurement, control and drive technology
  • Experience in the field of robotics is an advantage

  • Good comprehension skills, networked and analytical thinking, as well as an understanding of technical contexts
  • Motivated, independent, customer and team-oriented action
  • Written and spoken German
  • Good written and spoken English skills are an advantage
