Automation technician for switchgear (m/f/d)

We are a successful service company with many years of experience in the planning and execution of software and hardware projects in all areas of industrial automation. The requests for large and individual solutions of our customers from different industries have increased strongly with us. So that we can continue to support our customers in the best possible way in the future, we are looking for reinforcement in the production of switchgear.

Your tasks
  • Independently build and wire control cabinets according to plans and deadlines to bring complex systems to life
  • Testing equipment and preparing installations to ensure the highest quality and safety
  • Assembling control cabinets at customer sites throughout Switzerland to deliver customized solutions on site
  • Performing conversions and modifications to control systems, thus optimizing existing installations and adapting them to the requirements
  • Responsibility for final testing of switchgear to ensure everything is working properly
  • Complete project management from design to implementation to ensure innovative solutions are implemented for our clientele
  • Reporting work, creating protocols, checklists and documentation to keep track and ensure complete documentation
  • Support the training of our learners, for the transfer of knowledge and expertise and to encourage the next generation


Your profile
  • A completed apprenticeship as an automation technician EFZ, electrical installer EFZ or an equivalent qualification to build on sound technical knowledge
  • Professional experience in wiring to schematic systems to complete complex tasks safely and accurately
  • Ideal experience in switchgear and control system construction to be already familiar with requirements and standards
  • Knowledge of common MS Office programs in order to create documentation
  • A good grasp, networked and analytical thinking as well as understanding of technical contexts in order to solve complex tasks
  • A motivated, independent and customer-oriented action in a team to achieve success together
  • German language skills in spoken and written, English skills are an advantage
