New wood-fired heating system for EKT Aadorf

New wood-fired heating system for EKT Aadorf

District heating

Automation of energy supply for a sustainable and reliable power supply.

About the project

A modern wood-fired heating plant was built for the new Aadorf Nord heating network, which will initially supply heat to the surrounding properties. This plant will later be connected to the existing heating network in Aadorf in order to achieve greater network coverage and efficiency. The new heating plant was built to replace oil and gas heating systems and uses renewable energy sources, which contributes to a significant reduction in CO2 emissions. Rey Technology was commissioned to provide the control technology for this project. The entire plant is now controlled and monitored by a modern control system, allowing for centralized operation and monitoring of the facility. nbsp; The control system used enables graphical visualization of operating states, immediate alarms in the event of malfunctions, remote maintenance and remote control, as well as the export of operating data and the provision of information about heat consumers. The system used is proven and state-of-the-art, ensuring high reliability and efficiency.

The timely commissioning of the plant was made possible by detailed planning of all trades and interfaces. Thanks to this careful planning, the new heating plant was successfully commissioned on schedule.

The new wood-fired heating plant lays the foundation for the future. It meets current and future requirements in terms of efficiency and sustainability.

Thanks to careful planning and efficient implementation, commissioning and the first heat delivery were completed on time.
